Summer Chess Camp (6th-10th)

This level of chess camp is geared toward intermediate players and will focus on more advanced topics such as notation, mating patterns, combinations, structure and positional play.  This session will spend the majority of time playing with their peers.  The best teacher is practice! Boards and clocks are provided, but personal chess sets are welcome. Snacks are permitted as well as a water bottle. Hope to see you there!

*While target age is a suggestion, it is more important to fit into the appropriate skill category.  For example, if an elementary student is beyond the basics, they should sign up for the intermediate camp.

Dates: July 10, July 11, July 12, July 13 & July 14 (Mon- Fri.)

Time: 1:00 pm- 4:00 pm

Ages: 6th- 10th grade
