Summer Chess Camp (3rd-5th)

Chess camp is designed to teach and develop skills all over the board! The morning session covers beginning topics including how the pieces move, common tactics, openings, the mid-game and end game strategies. This session will spend the majority of time playing with their peers.  The best teacher is practice! Boards and clocks are provided, but personal chess sets are welcome. Snacks are permitted as well as a water bottle.  Hope to see you there!

*While target age is a suggestion, it is more important to fit into the appropriate skill category.  For example, if an elementary student is beyond the basics, they should sign up for the intermediate camp.

Dates: July 10, July 11, July 12, July 13 & July 14 (Mon- Fri.)

Time: 9:00am- noon

Ages: 3rd- 5th grade (Beginner)
