Beginner Hip Hop!

Get ready to jump, dance and let your confidence shine! This beginner hip hop class is the perfect place for 5th grade to 8th grade to jump into the world of dance, no experience needed. We’ll start with the basics, learning super fun steps, rhythms, and combos that make hip hop so exciting. Students will build coordination, musicality, and style while exploring upbeat music and positive vibes.

 Each class is packed with high-energy warm-ups, easy-to-follow choreography, group games, and plenty of chances to show off your own creativity. Whether you’ve danced for years or you’re stepping into the studio for the first time, you’ll find a supportive space to learn, laugh, and dance your heart out! The Hip Hop group will perform a feature showcase at the Spring Production of Sound of Music in April.

Attire: Students are required to wear Grace sweatpants or black leggings, along with an approved Grace T-shirt or sweatshirt. White hip hop shoes must be worn for class and are to be used exclusively inside the dance studio. Please use the shoe link for options!
